3. Beausoleil explores another aspect of their musical ancestry, harkening back to the popular Cajun music of the 's & 's. Some selections like "Quel Espoir" will with good reason remind you of the Texas Swing style, while the inclusion of more waltzes than you would normally find on the average Beausoleil album serves to remind the listener that the primary purpose of this music was get people to dance.
